Edgewater Beach Resort

My stay at edgewater was pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean and the employees were nice and helpful. I stayed with my mom and sister and it was a little small. We had a hard time adjusting the temp and it was very hot in our room. So we had to open the patio door to cool the place down. Also, there was a pull out sofa bed that was extremely uncomfortable. Other than that it was nice. The indoor pool was open and was nice to swim in.

The front desk attendants were so helpful, professional, and kind. Our condo was well equipped and well maintained. The grills outside could use attention like maintenance and cleaning. The indoor pool was closed. The lawn for kids to run and play was very well maintained. The putters to knock around a few golf puts were free. Outdoor pool was the perfect temp and seating was good. The beach was combed and no problem finding a beach lounger. I'd reccomend this place with no hesitancy.

Well appointed room, with quality fixtures and kitchen equipment. Great location on the Mid Cape. After an unfortunate delay by the resort in searching for clothes that we’re left in room after check out, the General Manager stepped in and located the clothes. A customer service problem turned into a great example of a Manager going the extra mile.

I was told they have a gas lit fire place iny room.When I try to light it nothing happened. I called from desk. They told me general manager was not on property...I was staying for 3 days . They didn't know when the general manager was going to show up to fix this problem. Hellooooo call maintenance for this problem. Never happened. I rented this room for the extra of a fire place in my room... romantic.

At first glance, the room appeared pleasant with its tidy appearance and charming decor. However, the longer I spent in it, the more problems I discovered. From a hole in the window screens that let pesky bugs invade my sanctuary to a thermostat that seemed to have a mind of its own, the initial allure quickly faded away. I had to call the front desk several times to have the thermostat fixed, something I’ve never done in all my years of travel, and even after that it still did not work. The bed felt like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Doors were hard to open and close added to my frustration, leaving me to wonder about the lack of attention to detail and overall failure of maintenance. I can't help but feel disappointed by the lack of upkeep and care. It was disheartening to encounter a plethora of maintenance issues that were not apparent at first. As a paying guests, I expected a certain level of quality and comfort, yet this resort fell short in all regards. The lack of attention to details and the overall failure of maintenance left a sour taste in my mouth. There were so many problems that would not have existed if the room had been checked before my arrival. It appeared to me that nobody checked anything. It is crucial to address maintenance issues promptly and diligently to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. We deserve a well-maintained environment where attention to detail is not overlooked, and here it seemed like attention to detail was sorely lacking. May these concerns be heard, and may improvements be made to create a more enjoyable stay for future visitors.

The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Excellent location. We were here off season, so it was quieter in general than I would expect. The bed wasn't the best, and the shape of our room was a little strange, but it was clean and everything worked. I wish the door didn't open to our bedroom, and the Jacuzzi on the back room was nice, although we didn't use it. I'd come back in season, when there were more businesses nearby that are open. With that being said, there were enough local places that were open, if you know where to look...
